RE: HOW DR. IBE KACHIKWU ALMOST KILLED ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC) IN DELTA STATE

ANIOMA YOUTHS MANDATE FOR BUHARI (AYMB)
5 WINING STREET, OFF ONITSHA ROAD, ASABA,
DELTA STATE.
15th October 2018.

His Excellency

Muhammadu Buhari GCFR
President
Federal Republic Of Nigeria
Aso Villa
Abuja.

Your Excellency,

RE: HOW DR. IBE KACHIKWU ALMOST KILLED ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC) IN DELTA STATE

This is not an attempt to join issues with the authors or sponsors of a letter dated 15th October 2018 with the above caption and addressed to you. The said letter which from its content was meant to be a personal letter to you but how it found its way to the social media where it has been trending all day exposes the intent of the sponsors which is to blackmail the Honorable Minister of state for Petroleum, Dr. IBE KACHIKWU, an ugly situation that is gradually becoming a norm against him despite his immense contributions and efforts in building the Delta state chapter of APC alongside his unquestionable commitment to his official assignments in line with the change mantra of your administration.

Your Excellency sir, it is true that the Honorable Minister joined the APC just after your victory and that of the party in the 2015 general elections and subsequently his nomination for the position he currently occupies and meritoriously at that with his professionalism evident and well documented as far as his official boundaries could cover. However, prior to his appointment and his subsequent entry into active partisan politics, Dr. IBE KACHIKWU has been a long standing friend of the Governor of Delta state, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa which has not in anyway affected his loyalty to APC in our dear state but why and how some persons have continued to hoodwink him with it, shows that they are still far behind in the realities of the 21st century politics.

Only few weeks ago, in his unrelenting efforts to give APC a stronger footing ahead of 2019, the Minister met with leaders of the party at the grassroots from across the state where he unequivocally assured them of his preparedness to ensure that you, President Buhari wins Delta state in 2019 and will also work hard to dislodge Governor Okowa and his party in all elections. This was well documented and publicized. So it is surprising when people continue to tag his name to these unnecessary debate and accusations of working against the party's interests or for Okowa.

Even before now, it is well known that Delta APC has been enmeshed in series of crisis and the Minister had tried all he could as much as his capability in crisis resolution can go in resolving the crisis but these same people have always thwarted and sabotaged these efforts both openly and clandestinely and the reason is not far fetched. Many times, the sponsors of these attacks have refused to give him his due respect by bluntly refusing to honour every peace meeting called by him as the highest political office holder in the state and by extension, the Leader of the party. So this letter to you sir is only in continuation of their orchestrated media attacks all in an effort to give the dog a bad name to hang it. But in this case, such lies and misinformation of the general public will not be allowed hence we will let out some of the achievements of this great son of Delta and Anioma within this short period of time as listed below:

Under him, many APC members have been employed

It is also instructive to state here that under his leadership, Oil Companies operating in Delta State were summoned for a meeting in Delta State Government House where a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between them, the State Government, and Community Leaders of which some APC leaders who fell into that category were present, on inclusive development of the State.

Many of the Party members through their leaders got Scholarships in PTDF, NDDC and jobs in PTI and DPR. Under him, a qualified Deltan who was nominated by an APC Chieftain got a Federal Scholarship to be part of the ongoing 2 years Railway Training in China.

Under Kachikwu?s tremendous efforts, Peace returned to Delta state and he singlehandedly stepped in to stop the crisis in Gbaramatu Kingdom which is a credit to our Party APC.

Again, this same Kachikwu risked everything to ensure that Maritime University come alive in Okerenkoko and today, that same institution has employed hundreds of Deltans.

Today, Deltans doing business in the Oil and Gas industry, always have unhindered access to carry out their businesses so far it is done in line with laid down mode of operations.

Under him, the revolution in Gas flare initiative ongoing with Delta State inclusive will equally create massive employment for many of the APC faithful in the State as well.

Also not forgetting to mention that we are aware that the Minister contributed in very huge amount to the legal battle that ensued after the 2015 Guber election against Governor Okowa.

From 2015 till date, he has continuously funded the running of the party running into millions of Naira.

Taking a keen look at the milestones achieved above with some of them having a direct link with the Government of Delta state as partners could be some of the reasons his detractors have continued to label him in bad light forgetting that many policies of the federal Government are tied into partnership with the state Governments irrespective of party affiliations. If these are true and verifiable, is it not surprising that these attacks are instead converted to massive support for him? What better way of empowering party members than these ones or maybe they are still looking towards the old PDP style of sharing state funds to them.

Having enumerated these, we are constrained to appeal to you his Excellency to disregard these baseless petitions, protests and Media attacks on the person of Dr. Ibe Kachikwu as his towering credential is well known to you as he works and reports to you directly as the Minister of Petroleum. Secondly, nobody has more information than you as the Commander in Chief and the Leader of our great party the APC.

We want to use this opportunity to once again thank you for finding our illustrious son worthy of such office and we will assure you of our commitment in mobilising Anioma youths for your re election in 2019.

BOMB! APC DELTA STATE EXPELS SEN. OVIE OMO AGEGE

At an emergency meeting of the State Working Committee ( SWC ) of our great party APC led by Chief Cyril Abeye Ogodo held today 3rd October, 2018, the Delta State SWC took a decision to expel Senator Ovie Omo Agege for his continuing anti-party activities that has remained unabated. The latest of such activities relates to the hijack of primaries panel members and materials sent from the national to conduct primaries in the state and deploying same to conduct unauthorised parallel primaries. The manipulation and tampering of delegates lists and the use of thugs to harass and deprive authentic delegates from access to primaries venues; all that in conjunction with Prophet Jones Erue and others who have earlier been expelled from our party.

The expulsion of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege is with immediate effect. The SWC also resolved to petition the Security services including the Police and DSS to arrest and prosecute Senator Omo-Agege, Prophet Jones Erue and others for impersonation and others actions calculated to breach public peace.

Flood Denies Delta State Deputy Speaker Osanebi's People Their Homes!

Delta Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi, couldn't access Beneku, his home town, today due to the ravaging flood that has submerged the community and other communities in the Ndokwa East State constituency of Delta State.

The Deputy Speaker who Monitored the spate of the flood and damage already done, commended the understanding of his constituents, charged them to remain calm, that its a natural phenomenon, as he expressed hope that the flood will not cause further damages.

Farms, family houses including the Deputy Speaker's country have been submerged in the overflown flood.

Reacting to IYB reporter, Osanebi thanked the government for their efforts, thanking Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the local government chairman, Mr. Amachee Guan Governor, for their proactive actions and steps taken thus far, to ameliorate the impact of the natural disaster.

The disaster, has already taken farmers unawares particularly around Ase Creek, as the flood which gradually began recently has overflowed its bank.

Subsequently, the water began to rise, submerging farmlands and crops on the alluvial rich islands and adjoining farms on both sides of the River Niger, bearing Ndokwa East communities, thereby sacking the farmers and destroying their fish ponds, homes and markets.

Communities most affected along the River Niger are, Beneku, Aballa-Oshimili, Utchi communities of (Okwumedo, Umuochi, Owelle, Obalu and Obeche), Okpai, Abalagada, Aboh, Abuato, Ugbene, Agwe-Iyom, Ise-Onokpo, Onuobiuku, Umu-Ugbome, Umu-Uti, Afiankwo, Umuolu, Umuti, Akarai Adiai, Utuoku, Oworubia, Wari-Irri, and Onyah.

WHY KEMI ADEOSUN WRITES PRES. BUHARI BEFORE RESIGNATION AS FINANCE MINISTER.

President Muhammadu Buhari Friday accepted the resignation of the Hon. Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun. The President acknowledged the Minister for her services to the nation and wished her the best in her future pursuits.

The President also approved that the Minister of State Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, should oversee the Ministry of Finance with effect from today.

Below is the full text of Mrs Adeosun’s resignation letter.

His Excellency
Muhammadu Buhari
President, Federal Republic of Nigeria
State House
Aso Villa
Abuja
Dear Excellency,
Let me commence by thanking you profusely for the honour and privilege of serving under your inspirational leadership. It has been a truly rewarding experience to learn from you and to observe at close quarters your integrity and sense of duty.
I have, today, become privy to the findings of the investigation into the allegation made in an online medium that the Certificate of Exemption from National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) that I had presented was not genuine. This has come as a shock to me and I believe that in line with this administration’s focus on integrity, I must do the honourable thing and resign.
Your Excellency, kindly permit me to outline some of the background to this matter. I was born and raised in the United Kingdom, indeed my parental family home remains in London. My visits to Nigeria up until the age of thirty-four (34) were holidays, with visas obtained in my UK passport. I obtained my first Nigerian passport at the age of thirty-four (34) and when I relocated there was debate as to whether NYSC Law applied to me. Upon enquiry as to my status relating to NYSC, I was informed that due to my residency history and having exceeded the age of thirty (30), I was exempted from the requirement to serve. Until recent events, that remained my understanding.
On the basis of that advice and with the guidance and assistance of those, I thought were trusted associates, NYSC were approached for documentary proof of status. I then received the certificate in question. Having never worked in NYSC, visited the premises, been privy to nor familiar with their operations, I had no reason to suspect that the certificate was anything but genuine. Indeed, I presented that certificate at the 2011 Ogun State House of Assembly and in 2015 for Directorate of State Services (DSS) Clearance as well as to the National Assembly for screening. Be that as it may, as someone totally committed to a culture of probity and accountability I have decided to resign with effect from Friday, 14th September, 2018.
Your Excellency, It has been an exceptional privilege to have served our nation under your leadership and to have played a role in steering our economy at a very challenging time. I am proud that Nigeria has brought discipline into its finances, has identified and is pursuing a path to long term sustainable growth that will unlock the potential in this great economy. Under your leadership, Nigeria was able to exit recession and has now started to lay the foundations for lasting growth and wealth creation. Repositioning this huge economy is not a short term task and there are no short cuts, indeed there are tough decisions still to be made but I have no doubt that your focus on infrastructural investment, revenue mobilisation and value for money in public expenditure will deliver growth, wealth and opportunity for all Nigerians.
I thank His Excellency, the Vice President and my colleagues in the Federal Executive Council for the huge pleasure and honour of working with them. I also thank most specially, the team in the ‘Finance Family’ of advisers and heads of agencies under the Ministry of Finance. Your Excellency, this group of committed Nigerians represent a range of backgrounds, ethnicities and ages. They have worked well above and beyond the call of duty to support me in the tasks assigned. The diversity in my team and their ability to work cohesively to deliver reforms, convinces me that Nigeria has the human capital required to succeed.
Your Excellency, let me conclude by commending your patience and support, during the long search for the truth in this matter. I thank you again for giving me the honour of serving under your leadership, it is a rare privilege, which I do not take for granted. As a Nigerian and committed progressive, I appreciate you for your dogged commitment to improving this nation.
Please be assured, as always, of my highest regards and best wishes
Kemi Adeosun (Mrs)
SEN. OMO-AGEGE, WHEN DID YOU STOP LOVING JONATHAN AND START LOVING BUHARI? - Aghogho Abraham Orotomah

Our attention has been drawn to Senator Omo-Agege's naive and ill advised diatribe against Delta Central Elders and Leaders of APC in Delta State who not only came to persuade but bought and presented the APC senate nomination forms to Olorogun O'tega Emerhor, OON, last weekend. The Elders and Leaders had also pleaded with Emerhor to accept the forms and run to replace Senator Omo-Agege as Delta Central Senator come 2019.

In his childish, churlish, intemperate and vulgar tirade, the out going Senator launched a dishonourable personal attack on the Elders and chiefs of Urhobo describing them as malleable rent seekers, mere contractors and generally dishonorable men.

He reserved even worse epithets for Olorogun Emerhor. But the most laughable was when he described him as anti Buhari.

It is obvious that Omo-Agege hopes that, by playing this con game, he can turn the tables against his far more superior and politically savvy opponent. He probably also hopes against hope, that by brandishing his recently adopted pro Buhari toga, he can dampen Olorogun Emerhor?s enthusiasm to wrest the senate seat from him.

But if this were a strategy, then it is silly through and through. Everyone in Delta knows Omo-Agege to be an acolyte of former President Jonathan. Even though he campaigned on the platform of Labour Party, it is a well known fact that Labour was in alliance with the PDP against the APC and together they fought a brutal battle against Olorogun Emerhor and pro Buhari supporters in Delta State.

We recall the last election like it was yesterday. We the pro Buhari supporters, were brutalized by Omo-Agege and PDP. We were bruised, but we were unbowed. We bled, but we soldiered on regardless.

Omo-Agege and PDP gave us a name in Delta: Boko Haram Supporters Party. Nigerians may not know it. But in the inflamed passions of 2015, where a Niger Deltan, Jonathan, was on the ballot against Buhari, a Fulani , this was the equivalent of a death sentence.

But as soon as Buhari won the elections, everything changed. Today, an Omo- Agege has the fawning temerity to describe Olorogun Emerhor and the growing sea of Mr. President?s supporters in Delta as anti Buhari, simply because he thinks this is how to hoodwink Abuja, and get an automatic ticket back to the Red Chamber.

But it would not work because President Buhari and his team are far more sophisticated and politically discerning than Omo Agege and his ilk.

It is correct that Omo Agege has been linked to other courageous senators who are standing up to those in the way of the programmes of our President in the National Assembly. But this doesn?t crown him as the only supporter of Mr President in Delta State.

When Omo Agege vaingloriously seeks to take credit for stopping the amendment to the sequence of elections, and boasts about being the one that that ensured our President's election comes first, is he not only being clever by half? Was it he that gave our President the presence of mind not to sign the electoral bill, a bill fraught with errors and sheer legislative mischief.

Is he unaware that even the courts struck down the proposed sequence of elections? So on what grounds does Senator Omo-Agege arrogate saving President Buhari's presidency to himself and his so-called courageous and fearless grandstanding.

And talking about winning elections, who between Omo-Agege and Emerhor is more capable of winning votes. Has Omo-Agege forgotten he ganered less than 10,000 votes in his Governorship bid in the 2010 rerun elections. And in 2015 when he rode on the back of Chief Great Ogboru for the senate run, would he have garnered any votes but for Ogboru.

Even at that, did he win that election, or simply got victory through legal technicalities in court.Truth be told, has Omo-Agege truly ever won an election.

Once again, in his consistent, wicked but small minded way, he sought to pitch Emerhor against our most respected National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

Referring to the recent Delta State congresses, he claimed that it is because Emerhor failed heed his advice to follow Comrade Adams Oshiomhole's leadership that he lost the congresses to him and his group. Nigerians may want to ask: is this not an insult to our National Chairman, who we all know to be an avowed democrat and a progressive? Weren?t the congresses, above all things, about the will of party men and women in Delta State.

We are certain that our dear National Chairman doesn?t accept this definition of how to win congresses.

It is obvious that Omo-Agege is scared witless about the game changing entry of Olorogun Emerhor into the Delta Central senate race. He knows Olorogun Emerhor will soon rapidly terminate his reign of arrogance, rascality and foolishness, and provide a sanguine and refined representation for the good people of Delta central.

So in sheer panic, Omo-Agege is frantically working all the levers to ensure indirect primaries in place of direct primaries. Why is the boastful senator who claims to control? the party structure frightened of a direct vote that will test his popularity among Delta APC faithfuls.

How come he is the only leader in Delta State APC who is afraid of Direct primaries.

Olorogun Emerhor hereby challenges Senator Omo-Agege to a contest for the APC senatorial ticket through a free and fair Direct primary. Let Senator Omo-Agege avail himself of this opportunity to prove that he can win in a transparent internal democratic contest within the party, rather than run around Abuja seeking an automatic ticket through indirect primaries.

As for his ridiculous comments about NDDC, it is on record that Olorogun Otega is neither on the board nor an employee of the commission. This is in contrast to the Niger Delta River Basin Authority where all advertised and unadvertised contracts miraculously transmute into Omo Agege?s constituency projects through his tight fisted reign as Supreme Contracts Controller.

But if as Omo Agege claims, albeit falsely, Delta Central Elders are with Emerhor for NDDC contacts, does it not follow that no Elder is with Agege because he is the sole beneficiary of Niger Delta River Basin contracts.

Even more intriguing is how Olorogun Emerhor suddenly became a chief Kwankwasiyan in the eye of Omo Agege and Omo Agege alone ? the same Omo-Agege who planted Sir Richard Odibo as Kwankwasiya Delta State Coordinator, and then deceived the presidency into giving him political appointment in NPC.

Why will a Senator resorts to cheap blackmail, conspiracy and rumour mongering in the corridors of power. To what purpose? Did Olorogun Emerhor do wrong in building APC in Delta State and graciously receiving Senator Omo-Agege as a 2016 joiner.

Olorogun Emerhor is not moved by threats of fire and fury. Omo-Agege should reserve that, if he may, for our common foe, PDP, who Olorogun Emerhor prays Omo-Agege is truly interested in dislodging from Delta State, given his previous relationship with them as SSG and Executive Assistant to a PDP Governor.

For now, it will suffice for Senator Omo-Agege to climb down from his arrogant high horse and test his acceptance with Delta Central APC followers in the upcoming senatorial direct primaries.

THE PRICE OF PEACE AND HARMONY IN EVERY MARRIAGE.... NO PERFECT MARRIAGE!

Sometimes we need to do things we don't like for the sake of peace

Dear IYB readers, many years ago I listened to a preacher share about how his wife would leave the television on at night and sleep off and they lived in a country where you pay based on how long you keep the TV on.

Leaving the TV on therefore increases the television bill. That attitude of his wife would annoy him and he was always angry at his wife for doing that yet it continued. It was obvious it was going to become a strain in the marriage.

Then one day while ruminating over this issue, I asked myself, Is your marriage not worth fifty dollars extra at the end of the month? If this attitude of your wife will mean an extra bill of fifty dollars is it too much to pay for peace to be in your marriage?

Unlike that i have seen, I know some people's wives are not morning person'. Hubby can wake up by 2:00am, work till 5:00am, go back to bed and still get up by 6:00am and start their day. But for some wives, hubby literally have to drag her out of bed in the morning. Her day begins only after she has had her bath.

In some homes, the wife is the one who goes to the kitchen to heat up water for the family to bathe. I guess it comes naturally with women.

I hear one man say one day "In my home, heaven help me if I wait for my wife to do that. I will wait for a long time. So I have resolved to make that my responsibility" lol.

He continued....

Even with the kids I will still have to be the one doing that in the morning because my wife is not a morning person. If that is the price I have to pay for peace to be in my home, it is worth it. We are talking about the price of peace.

One of my friends shared with me how his wife will never monitor the fuel gauge when driving. It is when the car finally stops that she realizes the car has run out of fuel. Guess who she will call the husband. He will have to be the one to sort out the problem.

After several of such calls he had to find a way around it. He ensures the fuel tank is full at the beginning of the week which will take the wife through the week. That way he does not get any phone call that the car has stopped. It is the price of peace for him.

When I was working on this article I requested that people share some of the prices they have had to pay to maintain peace in their homes. I got a lot of responses that revealed that no marriage is perfect. The reason we see certain marriages as better than ours is because the parties in those marriages are ready to pay certain prices to maintain peace in their homes.

Let me share a few of the responses I got."In my home I just have to tolerate my husband?s attitude. He has this habit of talking over issues repeatedly. He can talk, talk and talk when a situation happens and will nag you till you fall over. So to allow peace what I do is try and keep my mouth shut. No argument, no talking back or simply walk away so that peace can reign."-Ajoke Mariam Osikoya.

"I usually don't turn off the lights in a room when I'm done using it. At the beginning of my marriage hubby will tell me to always make sure I do that when exiting the room, but after correcting me several times without change, he decided to just check back anytime I leave a room and will help turn the lights off. He just stopped complaining and started helping me do it. Eventually, I had to determine in myself to be more aware and I've gotten better doing that. -Olubunmi Adeleye.

"My wife has a thing for matchsticks. After using one, she keeps it for 'emergency'. This act irritates me. No matter how long we discuss this (more than 9 years now) she still does. So I decided to dispose them and then I offer her a fresh one should an 'emergency' arise."-Dapo Shodunke.

"I don't pressurize my husband to do or not to do anything, especially something he really wants to, or really doesn't want to do. Putting pressure on him will only irritate him.

I keep quiet and I pray instead. That way, I have peace and also get what I want. On the other hand, my husband will always hang the mosquito nets, switch off the lights and unplug my phones, because I always sleep off. He has stopped complaining. He will do the job instead."-Bisola Muktar Mary

Those were just a few of the several responses I got about the price of peace that people are paying in their homes. A lot of other people were encouraged when they saw that they were not alone. You think you are the only one having an issue until you listen to others.Sometimes we need to do things we don't like for the sake of peace. If it is not too high a price then why not just do it and move on with our lives? Not every battle is worth fighting.

That is why it is important to be able to lead yourself because for these people whose reports we just
read you find that either they or their spouses took responsibility for peace. That is part of what personal leadership is about. Remember the first man could have picked a fight with his wife for refusing to get up from the bed in the morning. Hamzah could have picked a fight with his wife for that thing with the matchsticks. Fatimah's husband could have picked a fight with her for always forgetting to turn off the lights. But personal leadership helped us to take the other route thereby maintaining peace in our homes.

Now this does not mean you will never have to correct each other in the relationship or continually
be in endurance mode throughout the marriage especially when it has to do with abuse. That is a completely different matter. You don't endure abuse. But instead of fighting over why your spouse always presses the toothpaste tube from the middle, why not buy a second one so you have yours and he has his and both of you have peace? Has that not solved the problem?

Share to save a marriage!

OTHER APC AND NON-APC GOVERNORSHIP HOPEFULS SHOULD EMULATE UCHE NWOSU - Onwuasoanya FCC Jones

The All Progressive Congress APC Spokesperson of Imo State has affirmed that governorship elections is a local business and that all governorship candidates in Imo State should learn from the for ever supported present Imo State governor special candidate Uche Nwosu.

Onwuasoanya FCC Jones in his words writes....

Governorship election is a local business. You cannot negotiate the governorship of a State outside the State. You must come back home, engage the people and make them understand why it has to be you. You must not be deceived into thinking that you can win the governorship solely by deals reached in Abuja or any other place outside the State. It should be considered insulting to the generality of Imo people that majority of aspirants in the State are hinging their hopes on outsiders rather than coming home to campaign and secure the support of the people.

The only governorship hopeful who has shown so much respect to the people of Imo State is Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, who regularly falls back to consult with the people and seek their blessings for his governorship ambition, his massive contacts in Abuja and across the world notwithstanding. In return, the people of Imo State, especially, the youths, who incidentally constitute more than 60% of active voters, have continued to reciprocate this respect by massive show of support to the Eziama-Obaire born real estate mogul turned politician. To say that should the general elections hold today, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu will win with a landslide will be stating the obvious.

Presently, it is looking like there is no contest over the governorship of the State as Ugwumba Uche Nwosu's popularity has overwhelmed that of every other person. As a political activist rather than as a political Party official, I wish to urge other governorship aspirants both in the APC and across other political Parties to learn from Uche Nwosu how political mobilization should look like and make some credible attempts at challenging him for the support of the people.
DELTA YOUTHS SEND MESSAGE TO PMB .... SAYS SENATOR OMO AGEGE'S ATROCITY IS NEGATIVELY AFFECTING YOUR INTEGRITY IMAGE IN DELTA CENTRAL

Youths in Delta state under the auspices of Delta Youths for Integrity and Leadership DYIL have appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to direct the Hon. Attorney-General of the Federation to immediately commence the prosecution of the Senator representing Delta Central in the red Chamber, Ovie Omo Agege following his indictment for mace theft.

The group queried how a man who is supposed to be behind bars or facing trial for allegedly attempting to overthrow an arm of government is walking freely while bragging with the Presidency as his sponsors.

IYB learnt that, one of the youths who pleaded anonymity said that plans are underway for them to storm the Police headquarters in Abuja, to know why the IG has not arrested or prosecuted him stressing that irrespective of the fact that he is an APC Senator, such rascality reminiscent of the state of nature which is capable of throwing the country into chaos ought to be condemned by all lovers of democracy and not condoned in any sense at all.

Our source further emphasised that the indictment of Senator Omo-Agege by the NASS Committee on theft of the Senate mace and their recommendation for his prosecution along with six other suspects for treasonable felony, assault on NASS members of staff, conspiracy to steal and eventual theft of the Senate Mace is a regrettable blight on the good people of Delta Central he represents.

The source noted that the criminal act which the Senator had hoped would boost his dwindling popularity in his Senatorial district has been counter-productive especially with its attendant widespread condemnation, thus leaving the him at the mercy of others on whose back he can ride to power just as he did with Ogboru's name in 2015. It was just in his desperation as always to play into the good books of the Presidency that forced him into such national disgrace to the chagrin of his constituents.

"As future leaders of this great nation, we are constrained to take this action knowing full well that if Senator Omo Agege is not brought to book, similar or worse scenario must definitely play out in no distant time.

The group strongly advised that the Presidency should as a matter of urgency distance itself from the indicted Senator in order to maintain his impeccable integrity which remains the greatest collateral for his return to Aso Villa in 2019.
