Long Vehicle loaded with Heineken Drinks turns upside down in Owerri

Recently IYBlog was at Old Road Nekede, the road that has been labeled accidental zone of Owerri Imo State.

IYBlog learnt that some days back,   two vehicle carrying goods worth millions of naira were found upside down along the Nekede old Road. One was fully loaded with crates of Heineken drinks, the other was fully loaded with provisions, IYBlog gathered that these two vehicle actually were loaded to offload the products at a warehouse, there are several warehouses that the road leads to but yet, it has become dangerous to the lives and property  of people travelling along that road both in the day and night.

IYBlog also learnt that the road has been in this bad condition for more than 5 years now.

The Imo State governor Rochas Okorocha, who has on several times assign the road to contractors in collaboration with 'Imo rescue mission' contractors has yet to finish the job ones and for all.

Indigens of Nekede are of the cry, calling on the governor of Imo State to come to their rescue that if truly the rescue mission is geniue and they are not being partial in doing their job then the Nekede old Road should be the priority of Rochas administration.

The road leads to some many destination including schools and market places. Therefore  it's what can trmediously add to the development of the state if not ignored and it's well constructed.

Www.oyomare.com has the view that road constructed in Imo state has away of damaging within a short period of time.

The question Imo state government must answer is that, Should we say it is a deficiency Syndrome on Nigerian Roads? Or only in Imo state in particular? I guess I will leave that for you to judge.
