It will be recall that on 8th January 2017, IYBlog published a post about her and the need for IYBlog fans to vote for Her. Today am happy to let you know that she made it, as Muna Chisom Onuzo is the Most influential young Nigerian, in social Enterprise and Philanthropy. It will be pertinent you know that, at of 100 nominees, she came 1st in her category and 8th in ranking. She was declared winner on the 28th of January 2017.

Read her message for IYBlog fans after the cut....

My People! I want to say a heartfelt thank you for your support! WE DID IT! Your votes counted! Thank you very much! Ya gazie! Dalu nu ooo!
I cannot thank you enough for your support and votes!
The reward is beyond material! It is an African wide recognition! The ranking took place in 6 African countries! With all your help and through your votes, I ranked 8th out of 100 most influential and 1st in my category in the 2016 ranking in Nigeria!
On another note, I will be going to the United Nations Headquarters in New York in March to speak at a parallel session at the 61st United Nations Session on the Status of Women- (CSW61).
This session will be hosted by the Justina Mutale Foundation for Leadership and it will be on "Leadership, Innovation & Entrepreneurship" at the 61st Session of the United Nations. The CSW61 will provide an excellent opportunity for United Nations Member States; UN Entities; and NGOs to discuss the priority theme of “Women’s Economic Empowerment in the Changing World of Work" as well as other critical gender equality issues, including “Challenges and Achievements in the Implementation of the Millennium Development Goals for Women and Girls” and "The Empowerment of Indigenous Women” and yours truly will be speaking on that platform! It is an opportunity for Us to project our indigenous Nigerian issues with regard to economic growth, empowerment, leadership and gender equality.
I am open to discuss your opinion and views privately to ensure we present a robust argument and proposition!
So once again, I thank you all for your support and pray that each and everyone of us will be lifted and recognized in all our endeavors.
Dalu nuo!!!
