Ogheneovo Itefue writes....

"The need for peaceful coexistence among all ethnic groups within and outside the Niger delta region cannot be overemphasised. Indeed we all must stand together as one in order to build a better Nigeria"

Engr. Samuel Adjogbe, Executive Director Projects (EDP), NDDC who gave this charge over the weekend, during a meeting with Representatives of The Forum of Urhobo Leaders of Thought (FULT), opined that indeed, unity breeds development.

The EDP while speaking during the meeting, lauded the Federal Government on its ongoing bid to positively engage youths of the region and the country at large.

This he said, is one credit that cannot be denied from the present administration.

FULT, a frontier pressure group in the Urhobo ethnic nationality, commended the technocrat Executive Director Projects for his staunch belief in the development of the Niger Delta region while hailing his doggedness and character of purpose.

President of the forum, Chief Tuesday Onoge who commended the EDP remarked that "Besides being an illustrious son, his openness to everyone is still a trait to be emulated by all. The present NDDC board has proved so much within a short space of time."

Alhaji Mumekai Unagha, secretary of the Forum described the EDP as that "proverbial child who has washed his hands clean."

"His good deeds and achievements even before now, has always spoken for him and will always do, I am confident he shall continue on this path" The Elder statesman said.

The meeting also had other prominent personalities in attendance namely Chief Frank Efeduma, Barr. Livingstone, Comrade Monday Oyeghe, and Mr Sunday Asuor.
