NYSC members to serve in farm houses -Kazaure (Director General NYSC)

Today Brig Gen. SZ Kazaure FSS, MSS, DSS, PHD, MCSN - Director general NYSC who visited the Ogun state NYSC permanent orientation camp said, corps members are to begin Youth service in farm houses.

At the #5star orientation camp ogun, state Nigeria, the director general, while addressing the corps members, he was highly pleased with their good conduct, and how disciplined they were in the camp.

The director general who visits orientation camps when he deemed it necessary, told the administrative body of the ogun state camp, that they have done a good job, not only after he inspected the environment and found the place very conducive but for what they have impacted on the corps members within a week of being in the camp is highly recommendable. 

Speaking to newsmen, the director general told the press that, the population of corps members is becoming unaccomodating to the Federal government, that FG is not seeing it to be funny but they are doing their best to put things right and for corps members to enjoy their service times in their father land. 

"Corps members are to start serving for 11 months in our farms" this is due to the fact that Nigeria is diversifying her economy from oil to agriculture, and for us to achieve this, corps members will have to start serving in our farms especially those of them who did agricultural courses in school. He opined. 

Mrs. Mbechi Ejiaka Gladys NYSC Ogun State Coordinator, who made the opening speech, by presenting the achievements of her administration and also welcoming the DG was applauded by the the DG, staff, and corps members.

According to her, thousands of corps members in the orientation camp have been paid 1,500 naira each for transport allowance provided by FG. 

The event was delightful with cultural dance, match pass, and Man O’war displays.

I am overwhelmed by the presence of the DG, privileged to have had a hand shake with such a reputable high personality in Nigeria. And I wish to be recognised like this someday. He opined.
