THE FAILURE OF AKWA IBOM GOVERNMENT TO AMELIORATE THE PLIGHTS OF HER INDIGENES IN BAKKASSI.

Prince Aniekan Ekpo wrote;

Following the introduction of new tax regime for non indigenes by the Cameroonian Government, thousands of Akwa Ibom Indigenes have been displaced and their means of livelihood which is fishing now seared.

Their counterparts in Ikang on arrival have been given a settlement camp by the Cross River State government.

We keep wondering what is Udom's philosophy of democracy.

We all know that democracy is all about the people and his leprous Dakkaada mantra tends to profligate still on that flotsam, but his body language in the past 2 years bleeds the principles of democracy.

Giving deaf ear to the plights of the indigenes at their trying moment shows the insensitivity of the much self effacing governor.

This is a clear show of a failed government whose only concern is on bleeding the state of their resources without paying attention to the well being of the citizenry.

Mbo is part of Akwa Ibom, so allowing them suffer in the hands of Cameroonian government while u are here singing innovative and people friendly governance is deceit.

Govern in accordance of your oath of office !
