"The rate at which young ladies are investing energy in social media is troubling" - Sultan of Sokoto


Talking at the sixth National Edition of the Quranic Recitation Competition, Sultan of Sokoto, Saad Abubakar, communicated how stressed he was at the rate web-based social networking is keeping young people particularly young ladies from their examinations. 

As indicated by him, if young ladies who are operational hub of our good and societal improvement wreck, the entire society will be in threat since they are our moms and parental figures. 

"There is an irritating advancement where the consideration of students is being occupied from their exams. This is using different web-based social networking like Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, 2Go and Instagram, among others. 

"The rate at which young ladies are investing energy in social media is troubling and this stances fast approaching threat to our general public. Young ladies are the operational hub of our good and societal improvement and in the event that they crash, the entire society will be in peril since they are our moms and parental figures" the sultan said 

The Islamic traditional ruler asked youth, especially young ladies, to quit investing excessively energy in web-based social networking to the detriment of different engagements that would add more esteems to their life. 

Mr. Abubakar exhorted guardians to guarantee that their little girls invest more energy in significant things, such as recounting the Holy Qur'an. "Doing as such will improve them moms and parental figures''
