UDUAGHAN AND OKOWA UNIFIED BY CORRUPTION AND FAILURE

By Sadiq Oniyesaneyene Musa.

It will interest the public to note that presently there is serious sandfilling work going on to cover a waterway that takes water coming from the airport road axis in Warri towards Ogunu river. The funny part of this action is that someone is running a wall fence from Shell gate Edjeba to School of Nursing which will now clearly cover this large expanse of land to Ogunu axis.

Part of this land was where ex Governor Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan promised to build hostel in the last convocation ceremony he attended at college of education warri during his ill faith tenure.

Uduaghan left without fulfilling his promise. Deltans are asking who is now fencing and reclaiming that large expanse of land?

In this period of flooding what happens as they are now filling the waterway. Who bears the brunt when the real rains come?

Must that area be turned to part of Asaba or what the residents of Jakande estate are experiencing?

A stitch in time saves nine. Let us not punish whole communities in pursuit of personal wealth.

Amongs other enormities and atrocities of Emmanuel Uduaghan failed projects which I call on EFCC, ICPC and all other apparatus for immediate arrest and prosecution of the man who looted and milked Delta State dry.

Some of these Projects are Warri Business Amusement Park opposite DBS Warri, Ughelli-Kwale-Asaba dualisation road project and the Edjeba expanse of land proposed to build students hostel. Several billions was budgeted for these projects but it was an opportunity for Uduaghan to siphon Delta State fund and that was why an erudite professor of high repute and economist par excellent, Prof. Pat UTOMI said “A good Councillor would have done much better for the people than Uduaghan did as Governor.”

Uduaghan and his successor Dr Ifeanyi Okowa increased the suffering of Deltans through the truncate of civil service commission employment provided by Uduaghan administration and pensioner's allowances.

More importantly, doctors are yet to receive their entitlements. To Deltans, those are history and almost 13 months unpaid salaries of Delta State workers still pending while we are watching Paris club relief fund from the the Federal government. hope this will not be avenue for Okowa to deep hands into his pocket?

Uduaghan should continue buying time but what the populace and Deltans believe is there are three types of judgement, judgement of man, court of law and the judgement of GOD Almighty.

Uduaghan if you escape the two judgement above, surely you will not escape the judgement of GOD.

More photos after the cut....
