The commissioner who took an inspection walk from the beginning to the end part of the Eke-Osarogiuwa and Easy motion road noted that the necessity of this rehabilitation is to further collaborate with the Edo state government in the decongestion of the third junction road and it's axis. He explained to the public of the failed part and the negatively it has brought thus far to residents and road users who uses this part.

"The government of Edo state is doing a lot to decongest the third junction and the upper Sakponba axis, and because of that the vehicles convening passengers from upper Sakponba to third junction usually drop passengers before saint savior junction, and that usually bring about a lot of gridlocks, and to quickly intervene in that regards is to reconstruct the Eke-Osarogiuwa, Easy motion road to serve as a by-pass so that the motoring public can use that as an alternate route to saint saviour, uwa street and to third east circular road" as said by the commission.
