Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa Provides More Than 40,000 jobs to Youths in Delta - Ossai Ovie Success

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state has made more than 40,000 jobs since he has come into power as governor on May 29, 2015, Ossai Ovie Success, Personal Assistance to the governor, has said. He said the jobs were made through judicious administration of the state rare assets. 

The Governor's associate who talked not long after a collaboration with youths In Asaba stated: "It is never again news that Nigeria as a country has been under recession and this has ruined a considerable measure of potential outcomes yet in Delta State the story is extraordinary." 

He said Okowa's youth empowerment program has yielded some outcome following Governor Okowa's assurance to lessen the rate of joblessness in Delta state. 

"The recession in the nation has never ceased Governor Okowa from making jobs in Delta state, through the Job and Wealth Creation Scheme. 

"Since August 2015, when Governor Okowa propelled the Job and Wealth Creation Scheme with the accompanying projects viz; Youth Agricultural Entrepreneurs Program (YAGEP), Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Program (STEP) and Production and Processing Support Program (PPSP), it has drawn in a great deal of young people. 

"More than 40,000 jobs have been made both in the private and open areas," Ossai said including: "This figure comprises of direct jobs and roundabout jobs of both gifted and incompetent workers, there is no local government go and not see more than 2000 young people being empowered by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa."
