Pres. Buhari leaves Nigeria for US

Uncovering any very late difference at the top of the priority list, President Muhammadu Buhari will leave Nigeria on Monday, September 4, 2017 for a trip to Washington, DC.

Buhari's trip to the US is at the welcome of President Donald Trump. 

SaharaReporters cited a Nigerian Presidency source as saying that Trump had expanded the welcome last February, soon after he came into power. 

The president is booked to leave the place where he grew up, Daura, by helicopter at 9:15 am on Monday for Katsina airplane terminal. From the air terminal, he will fly out at 10 am on board a presidential fly to Washington, DC. 

The source said the before design was for the president to join the official visit to the US with his cooperation at the UN General Assembly in New York from September 21 to 25, 2017.
