Buhari administration has repositioned the nation's economy as income now originates from different sources - Oyegun

John Oyegun, national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), says under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, the nation never again relies upon oil to survive.

Oyegun said this on Saturday at a rally which the APIC in Kogi sorted out to get deserters.

The APC national chairman clarified that the Buhari administration has repositioned the nation's economy as income now originates from different sources.

As indicated by him, the APC government has spared Nigeria from economic fate.

"Nigeria, under President Buhari, never again relies upon oil to survive. Today, under Buhari, Nigeria has led the pack in the agrarian creation and the country is working on a stable economic progression."

Prior, Yahaya Bello, legislative head of Kogi, said Buhari must contest in 2019.

He said every one of the individuals from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi that made a difference have surrendered to the APC.

"President Buhari must contest second term since all the 24 APC governors are prepared to help his reelection," Bello said.

"All the PDP individuals that made a difference in the state have all evacuated to the APC since they have seen the light and understood that APC has better program for the general population of the state and Nigeria all in all."
