Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi-Uku management approves computer based exam for all students.

Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi-Uku is considering ending 800 years of tradition by allowing computer to replace pen and paper for exams.

And latest information has it that Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashiuku, Nigeria has finally accepted the use of Computer-Based-Test examination system for their internal upcoming examinations.

This is no rumour anymore, because according to the Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashiuku rector, Mrs Stella Chiemeke, the computer based test examination method will be used by the just admitted ND 1 and HND 1 students this 2017/2018 academic session. and after that, the CBT examination will be spread to other levels in the institution.

Though the student have expressed their concern that they are not fully in support of the introduction of CBT examination, but the school has a point, which is, if they the student wrote CBT examinations to get admitted into the school, while will they not accept the same process to be used to access them internally ?

However, some student have expressed great confidence in the innovative moves made by the rector to digitalize the school and are very confident that the ICT department manned by Mrs Obaro and her staffs, can handle the CBT examinations they the students are in full support of the new development, which is the first of its kind in Delta State.
