It is unfortunate that the PDP has, for the past three years, made it a habit to lay claim to starting every project commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari. There is no other way to know a shameless political Party than such claims. By claiming credit for commencing, rather than completing these projects and many others, the PDP has owned up to the criticisms of many reasonable Nigerians against her, as being one of the most irresponsible political Parties to have existed anywhere in Africa.

President Muhammadu Buhari has shown by taking up these projects and completing them that he is a responsible leader that has the interest of the country at heart. That the PDP could not complete any of these projects for the sixteen years it held sway and the APC is able to complete them within three years of taking over shows which Party is more prepared for governance and which was more concerned about stealing public funds. The truth is that the longer these projects stay uncompleted, the more money the umbrella criminals pocketed for themselves.

The only reason why the PDP never completed any of those projects is because they wanted to leave an opening to continue milking Nigeria dry. On the other hand, the APC believes in completion of every project and making them available for the use of Nigerians. Abandoned projects are anathema to the APC.

The question every reasonable Nigerian should ask the PDP is what stage were these projects before 2015? These projects were less than 25% completion stage, while a number of them were abandoned at design or even proposal stage, but the APC government came in and immediately commenced work towards completing them.

The PDP would have concerned itself with awarding fresh contracts, because that is where they will get bigger kickbacks from. The APC in most cases even asked the original contractors to continue with the project even though their allegiance was for the PDP. What matters to the APC and indeed, President Muhammadu Buhari is for Nigeria to work and for Nigerians to be happy. It doesn't matter who does the contract and which political Party such a person belongs to.
