FEC affirms a N348.594 billion contract for the construction of 420.6 kilometers Akwanga-Jos-Bauchi-Gombe road

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting conveyed by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday, August 8, affirmed a N348.594 billion contract for the construction of the 420.6 kilometers Akwanga-Jos-Bauchi-Gombe road. The developtment was made open by the clergyman of intensity, works and lodging, Babatunde Fashola, Independent reports. 

IYB assembles that the minister unveiled that the task scope covers the extension of the present two-path roadway into a double carriage way. As per Fashola, the venture is important in light of the fact that it completes the integration of the north-central with the north-east and south-east. He additionally unveiled that the Council had in May 2018, likewise given endorsement for the Ninth Mile Enugu to Makurdi road which interfaces the south-east toward the north-central. He said the construction procedure will traverse over a time of four years.
